New Years Eve in New Delhi
My last city in India was New Delhi where I spent exactly 24 hours before my flight back to Los Angeles. It was probably one of my busiest days in India but it was definitely worth the hustle and bustle.
10:00 AM - On the road headed our first stop Qutub Minar, which is definitely a must see in New Delhi
We took so many pictures with local kids while we were at Qutub Minar. I was just as happy to take a picture with these kids as they were to take a picture with me. It was so fun
12:00 PM - Next stop of the day was Humayun's Tomb which was a major inspiration to the architects of the Taj Mahal. The two structures are very similar in size and design.
2:30 - The Red Fort was our next stop. We didn't go inside because we were short on time but just walking around the structure showed it's strength and magnitude
4:00 PM - As soon as you step outside the gates of The Red Fort dELHI you will find yourself in the Old Delhi where you will find, Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. We took a rickshaw around the market
6:00 PM - As you can imagine by now we are starving and it also happens to be New Years Eve. I had read online that The Imperial hotel was a must see if you were in New Delhi and I convinced my party we had to have our New Years Eve dinner at that hotel. The Imperial DID NOT disappoint, the food was absolutely delicious. I only wish I had more time in that magical hotel.

8:30 PM - After our delicious New Years Eve dinner we headed back to the hotel to freshen up, then head to the airport.
10:30 PM - Arrived at New Delhi airport ready to bring in my new years waiting for my flight. I was pleasantly surprised by the spa in the Delhi airport where I got a foot massage before my flight to Hong Kong
12:00 AM - HAPPY NEW YEARS. My dad and I decided to take a shameless New Years selfie. By far my most cherished and memorable New Years Eve to date.
1:15 AM - Wheels up and headed to Hong Kong and finally Los Angeles.
P.S. I got bumped up to business class for both flights and was in HEAVEN. I always love flying Cathay Pacific.
