TAJ MAHAL
I will preface this post by saying that there is no possible way I can put into words how powerful and breathtaking this structure is when you finally see it in person. I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and humility when I saw it and I couldn't have been more happy to be hand in hand with my father when I saw this structure for the first time. I urge everyone, "Do Not Leave This Earth Without Seeing The Taj Mahal."
Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India is home to the Taj Mahal meaning, Crown Palace, which is the resting place for Shah Jahan and his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Over the course of twenty-two years Shah Jahan oversaw the construction of the mausoleum built in memory of his late wife.
The walls of the Taj Mahal are covered in intricate inlay work. Many people think the Sanskrit and art on the walls of the mausoleum are painted on but the walls are actually covered with precious and semi-precious stones inlaid in the white marble
Having my father meet me in India was so awesome. I am so happy to have experienced India with him by my side
