Choi Hung

Easily probably the most instagramable place in Hong Kong (unless you count the beach in my next post) I knew if I found myself in Hong Kong sometime during my three month stay in China I'd need to see it in person. I was unaware that this court belonged to the Choi Hung Estate in Hong Kong which is also a public housing project. Sometimes in life things that weren't designed to be spectacular or noteworthy end up being just that.  It reminds me of the Tupac poem, Rose that grew from concrete. 

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.
