Exploring Shenzhen: OCT Loft

The OCT-LOFT creative group located in Shenzhen OCT East was created in the 1980s with the intent to reconstruct old buildings into edgy lofts. The area was originally zoned industrial and has since been transformed into a creative hub filled with trendy restaurants and galleries. The area is filled with design studios, architectural firms, and unique retailers. You will find all art forms here from music to sculpture to photography. It's Shenzhen's version of DTLA's Art District. OCT-LOFT definitely makes me feel at home. Art exhibitions and music festivals are held here throughout the year.
